Dress Code for St Andrew’s School Students

Clothing should be smart casual and most importantly comfortable.

Coats should be sensible and should match weather conditions.

Footwear should be fit for purpose.  No flip flops or shoes which could cause injury to feet or toes.

Please ensure that clothing is plain, i.e. no slogans or inappropriate graphics.

Camouflage wear of any kind is not allowed.

We expect that any clothing worn by a student is such that people cannot see under it, over it or through it.  This way dignity is preserved.

P.E

Plain shorts, plain T-shirt or sports shirt, trainers or plimsolls.

Tracksuit or sweatshirt for outdoor games.

Jewellery

For safety reasons only one stud earring per ear (not rings) and no facial jewellery is allowed.

Nothing to be worn around the neck: necklaces, chains, etc.

No rings or bracelets.

Hair

Long hair should be tied back for P.E lessons.
