Attendance
At St Andrew’s School we believe in developing good patterns of attendance and set high expectations for the attendance and punctuality for all our students. We aim to collaborate with parents to ensure that all our students receive the most from their education and reach their full potential.
We recognise the strong connections between attendance, attainment, safeguarding and wellbeing. The government is clear that no student should miss school apart from exceptional circumstances and schools must take steps to reduce absence to support student attainment.
If your child is unable to attend school for any reason, please ensure you contact the school office before 8:30am on 01263 837927.
If your child normally comes to school by taxi, please ensure you let the driver know. It is the responsibility of the parent / carer to inform both the school and the taxi company.
