Social Visits
Each week our classes have the opportunity to participate in a weekly social visit. These visits enrich the curriculum and provide a range of experiences of the wider world for our students. It also provides a meaningful and real-life opportunity for students to practise and apply their communication and interaction skills.
Students enjoy a range of different activities, for example:
- Visiting East Runton Beach and enjoying rock pooling
- Visiting Hillside Animal Sanctuary
- Team games at Suffield Play Park
- Visiting the supermarket to buy ingredients for Food Technology
- Apple and pear picking at an orchards
- Visiting Cromer Library
- Visiting the supermarket to purchase a ‘Meal Deal’
- Pretty Corner Woods
- Roman Camp Woodland
- Felbrigg
- Sheringham Park
